Nestled beside the iconic Chevron Island Bridge on the stunning Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise Rowing Club (SPRC) provides a welcoming, inclusive environment for Rowers of all levels and ambitions.

Whether you're taking your first strokes, refining your technique, staying active through recreational rowing, or aiming to compete on the world stage, SPRC offers expertly coached squad sessions for athletes aged 16 and up.

We’re also proud to run the Gold Coast’s only dedicated High Performance Rowing Program, supporting elite athlete development.

For younger rowers, SPRC delivers intensive school pathway programs from age 14, nurturing the next generation of talent through structured training and support.

Our mission is to deliver exceptional rowing programs, within a community focused, supportive atmosphere.

At SPRC, we celebrate the sport of rowing, fostering enjoyment, achievement, and excellence on the stunning waterways of Surfers Paradise.

SPRC Announces facilities upgrade
SPRC Announces facilities upgrade

Surfers Paradise Rowing Club (SPRC) is on a mission to reignite the spirit of rowing on the Gold Coast. We're actively fundraising for a new pontoon that will significantly improve water access for para rowers, while also enhancing safety and convenience for our school, masters, and high-performance athletes. This vital upgrade will help create a more inclusive and accessible environment for all.

SPRC Facility Upgrades:Originally opened in 1996, our current facility no longer meets the needs of our rapidly growing programs and broader community. Surfers Paradise Rowing Club is now developing a comprehensive master plan to upgrade and expand our infrastructure.

These upgrades will enable us to better support our expanding school and community programs, while positioning SPRC as a high-quality training hub in the lead-up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
